How Nikola Tesla Won the War of Currents and Illuminated America
The year is 1888. The War of Currents between Thomas Edison (advocate of direct current) and Nikola Tesla (proponent of alternating current) is reaching its peak. Edison is trying to discredit Tesla and even finances public demonstrations where he uses alternating current to kill animals, aiming to show its "danger." However, Tesla has a plan that will change history.
Instead of getting drawn into Edison's dirty games, Tesla teams up with George Westinghouse and secretly begins working on a revolutionary project: a giant wireless power plant that could supply the entire United States with free energy. Their secret laboratory is located underground near Niagara Falls, where Tesla harnesses the power of water to generate electricity.
Edison learns about the project and decides to sabotage it. He sends his agents to destroy Tesla's lab. On the decisive night when the power plant is set to be activated, a battle breaks out between Edison's men and Tesla's loyal engineers. Tesla, known for his ability to improvise, uses his new invention—the Tesla Electromagnetic Shield—to repel the attackers.
Once the lab is saved, Tesla activates the power plant. A massive glow appears over Niagara Falls, and energy begins to flow across the country. Cities all over America light up, and people experience for the first time what it's like to live in a world full of free energy.
Edison, defeated and humiliated, retreats from public life. Tesla becomes a national hero, and his alternating current becomes the standard. In the following years, Tesla continues his inventions, including wireless energy transmission across the globe.
And so ends the story of how Nikola Tesla not only won the War of Currents but also illuminated America and changed the world. 😊
